Meet our President, Louis Cicalese

Mount Prospect Cemetery was founded in 1881 and sits majestically 109’ above sea level in Neptune, NJ at the New Jersey Shore, minutes from the beaches. Built to be a Victorian Park Cemetery with winding paths and places to sit the cemetery has been referred to by the Neptune curator as “an outdoor museum representing every class, race and occupation” From it’s peak the 90’ Bennett Memorial erected in 1897 by local millionaire and theater impresario Henry Bennett was at the time the largestpiece of Vermont granite every quarried. “Buried here are Veterans from the Revolutionary Was, The Civil War, Th Spanish/American War, WWI, and WWI, Korean and Vietnam Wars, as well as the Gulf
War. There are also victims of the Morro Castle fire buried here. For the past few years we have continually made improvements to restore the cemetery to its original glory.” We offer graves for cremation and caskets.
